NEWS MESSENGER, Sunday, November 24, 1974 Deaths, Funerals MR. DUDLEY CARTHAGE -Funeral services for Willie Dudley, 73, of Gary were held at 32 p.m. Saturday in the Mount Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Hitt and the Rev. Terry, Lemoine officiating.

Burial was in Mount Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Cemetery. He was a. retired taxi cab owner and member of the Mount Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mollie Dudley of Gary; one daughter, Hazel Dudley of Alto Loma; two.

brothers, Jack Dudley and Oliver Dudley, both of- Houston; and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Johnson and Mrs. Mozelle Latham, both of Houston. MR. BARNES -Edwin (Ed) Barnes, a former Marshall resident died Saturday afternoon in a Shreveport hospital following a brief illness.

Mr. Barnes has lived in Shreveport for the past few months after moving from Marshall where he had lived for 75 years. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park Cemetery at New Braunfels, Tex. under the direction of Osborn Funeral Home of Shreveport.

Mr. Barnes was a native of Waskom and a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marshall. He was a retired machinist with the Texas and Pacific Railroad. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs.

James M. (Dorothy) Brown of Shreveport and Mrs. Jack (Louise) Bradfield of San Antonio; four grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren. MR. WUNDERLICH HENDERSON Funeral services for Ross Edwin Wunderlich, 49, of Tempe, are pending with Bobbitt Memorial Chapel in San Bernadino, with local arrangements under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home.

The body was forwarded to" San Bernadino Saturday. Mr. Wunderlich died Thursday night en route to a Henderson hospital. He was an insurance adjuster for the General Adjuster Bureau in Tempe. MR.

ADAMS CARTHAGE Funeral services for Aubrey Weinfield Adams, 54, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Will officiating. Burial will be in Langley Cemetery. Mr.

Adams died Friday in a Shreveport hospital. Born May 26, 1920 in Panola County, he was a retired pipefitter and a member of the Pipefitters Local 211 and VFW Post 5400 in Alta Loma. He was a member of the Baptist church and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are, his parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Eyvonne Mills of Niceville, one brother, Billy Ray Adams of Greenville: Dr. W.L. Munden Dies Of Lengthy Illness Here Dr. W. Munden, 69, of 2812 Mary Mack Dr.

died Saturday at Memorial Hospital Annex following a lengthy illness. Dr. Munden practiced dentistry in Marshall from 1926 until retirement last year. He was born on Sept. 28, 1905 in Longview.

the son of Jose Munden and Gertrude Person Munden. Dr. Munden graduated from, the Baylor University Dental School in 1926. On Sept. 3, 1932 he married Katherine Seale in Texarkana.

In 1928, he helped to organize the East Texas Dental Society and later he secretary and as president of the organization. He was a member of the Harrison County Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the First Baptist Church. Hewas also a charter member of the Ark-La-Tex Dental Congress, and a veteran of World War II. Funeral services will be held in 2 p.al. Sunday from othe Colonial Chapel of the Sullivan Family of Funeral Directors with the Rev.

SMOAK HUGHES SPRINGS Funeral services for William Smoak, 83, of Cason will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church of Cason with the Rev. Kenneth Reese and the Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Blevins Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Hughes Springs.

Mr. Smoak died Friday in the Hospital in the Pines. He was a retired employe of the Chicago Ironworks and was da member of the First Baptist in Cason. Survivors include two brothers, A. M.

Smoak of Bossier City, and A. Alton Smoak of Daingerfield; and three sisters, Mrs. Emma Stevens of Memphis, Mrs. Naomi Fenn and Mrs. Sadie Wilson, both of Cason.

MR. COLLINS Funeral services for Ophra Lee Collins, 61, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Welch Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Aubrey Pate officiating. Burial was in the East Mountain Cemetery, Mr.

Collins died Wednesday in a Longview hospital. A lifetime resident of the Longview area, he was a member of the East Mountain Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II: and a retired security guard for the White Oak school system. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Thelma Collins Longview; three daughters, Martha "Miso Johnson of Gladewater, Mrs. Margie Miller of White Oak and Mrs.
